Bluff River Gorge

Walk Description

The track starts off a short sandy descent off the main vehicle track to pick up the walking track. It follows along the gorge gradually dropping close to the river bank, but then climbs back uphill and actually passes back above the gorge rim before leading on to a wide shelf and from here the track drops down to join the river again.

Once over the track follows along above the river and eventually crosses some ledges exposed to the sun where many flowers can be seen in season. The track drops back to the river and ascends to the entry point.
